About Us

Our Mission

At Momentum Pilates Studio, our mission is to excite people about their bodies and get it moving in ways it hasn’t in a while…or ever.  Whether you’re an accomplished athlete looking to further your training or a regular person who wants to strengthen and learn your body better, Pilates at Momentum will challenge you in new, unique, and innovative ways.  Young or old, in or out of shape, we’re all ageing, so let’s do it gracefully and have a lot of fun at the same time.  You will be amazed at just how much Pilates will improve your everyday life.  You’ll look and feel so much better, too!

The human body is an incredible creation.  We only get one, so we need to learn it, care for it, and treat it well.  The better we treat ourselves, the better we feel in both simple and profound ways.

It’s your body.  Use it or lose it, baby!

CAROL DALY-WILDER

Owner, Certified Pilates Instructor

Carol has been teaching Pilates since 1996 and has always loved exploring how the body moves and works. She began her career as a certified massage therapist, which naturally led her to Pilates.

After being inspired by her teacher, Anthony Rabara, in Princeton, NJ, Carol completed her Classical Pilates certification in 2002 through Body Precision. She has also completed Levels 1 and 2 of Square One with Shawn Sherman, supporting more efficient, connected movement.

Carol enjoys tailoring each session to the individual, helping clients move with greater ease, confidence, and awareness.

KERRI ANN BENDER

Romana’s Pilates, Level IV Instructor Trainer

In 2002, Kerri completed Romana’s Pilates Teacher Certification Program in NYC, where she apprenticed with Joseph H. Pilates’ protégé, Romana Kryzanowska. Since that time, Kerri has taught at Pure Joe Studios in Washington, DC, Bermuda Bodyworks in Bermuda, Contrology Pilates Center in Costa Rica and spent over a decade of teaching at Pilates in Paradise in Key Largo, FL. Kerri performed for the five seasons with The Charleston Ballet Theatre and holds a Green Belt in NIA (Neuromuscular Integrative Action). She believes that movement is medicine and enjoys sharing her love of Pilates and dance with her clientele. She’s very passionate about training apprentices to become instructors with Romana’s Pilates and thinks that the pure work of Joseph H. Pilates has the power to transform bodies and lives.  When she’s not in the studio, Kerri is busy playing with her 13-year-old son, Jackson. She is very excited to be back in the Lowcountry and is eager to make Savannah and Momentum Pilates Studio her new home.

JIM BUCKLEY

Romana’s Pilates, Level V Instructor

Jim spent more than 30 years working with oceanographic research facilities around the world, a career that took him across the globe but eventually left him searching for something that would bring more balance into his life.

That shift began in 2007, when he walked into a Pilates studio in Key Largo, Florida for his first session—and immediately knew he had found something meaningful. What started as curiosity quickly became a deep commitment to the work.

Jim trained under the guidance of Kerri Bender, Jamie Trout, and Bernadette Ceravolo, and was fortunate to learn from master teachers Romana Kryzanowska and Sari Mejia. In 2009, after a year of focused study with Kerri, he earned his Level 5 certification in Paris, France.

Today, Jim continues his Pilates journey at Momentum Pilates Studio in Savannah, where he brings both his life experience and passion for the method to every session.
